Mike and Shannon here. Thank you for joining our team.

Shannon and I have been married for over 25 years. While I can't say that we have everything figured out, we have learned a thing or two about marriage over the years. We've worked hard to create an energized marriage, and we have made it a point to share what we have learned with others around us. 

In essence, it is not enough for us to have an energized marriage; we really want to help others experience an energized marriage.

That is the reason for this post

We are so glad that you have chosen to come along for the ride with us. And along the way, we can share with each other how to keep building energize marriages.

Our plan is to send out one email each week with a simple idea to energize your marriage. Don't worry; we won't fill your inbox with a bunch of emails. That's so annoying. 

Here's the kind of stuff that you can expect to receive:

• Resource Reviews:  We are resource junkies. We are always looking for a good book, website, blog, podcast, etc., to help us learn more. We will include reviews of the resources we have found beneficial. 

• Dating Adventures:  This one is a favorite. Even after 25 years of marriage, Shannon and I are excited when we go out on a date with each other. We just enjoy spending time together. So we are going to include some of our date ideas. 

• Marriage Enrichment: From time to time, we will include some marriage enrichment ideas. These are insights that we have learned or have been percolating around in our minds. Sometimes these ideas need to be put on paper just so we can work through them.

• And much more that may not fit neatly into a category. But you can see where we are going.

  
  

But don't get the wrong idea.  We are hoping this is more than a one-sided conversation. 

We want to hear from you too.  

We want you to view these marriage emails as the beginning of a conversation.  You can simply enjoy them, you can make a comment about them, you can try them and let us know how they worked for you.  

If you would like to add your take on any idea, there will be a way to comment.
